A few months ago, I posted a challenge that I found on another site. My way of thinking of it is that it's a "practice in photo journalism" challenge. They give a list of words and you are supposed to take 1 picture of each. As a scrapbooker, I make an additional challenge of using the photo and the word for a LO. This time around, I am using more than 1 photo on a LO to show my complete idea.

Here is the Ad Challenge the sketch #2 is for . . . It was really a challenge to get the look I wanted. I DO like how it turned out, tho . . . I used some new swirl rub-ons that are sticky when you lay them down. Then you lay a sheet of foil, flock, or glitter over them and get a mess-free design. I am recovering from my miscarriage. I am doing okay -- at least I'm not falling into a deep depression. I am finding things to look forward to. I am making goals. Well, turns out that they asked me to be on the DT, AND the newsletter as a columnist to teach stamping ideas. But I had to choose one or the other. I chose to be in the newsletter. It's still a every 3 month assignment, and I still get my kit for free that month. I will get everything very early so I can make projects and get them sent to them before the newsletter deadline. Yeah, I applied for SG's DT again this year. I think it will be nice if I make it, but mostly, I just hope they make announcements kindly, responsibly, and professionally this year. My littlest one is bringing me such joy right now. He just started crawling last night and today he is trying to money-walk. Silly guy!
